Dear Lovie,

Dear Lovie,

While from the outside looking in my Mother's Day looked much less than perfect, it was perfect to me for one reason- I spent it with you. You woke up early, right beside me of course, with a big hug and a big smile and a small cuddle. It was raining, we we played outside with the umbrella with our swimsuits on for nearly and hour. You thought it was so funny to throw cups of water at me. We pranced under the "waterfall" of water pouring off the roof and you screamed as it was very cold. We baked yummy vegan cinnamon rolls from scratch. You stirred and wanted to lick the bowl but didn't like the batter. Flour went all over the kitchen, of course. We watched them rise with the over light on. Later we played and made a huge mess of toys in the living room. You napped for awhile while I laid beside you. That evening the two of us ate dinner together. and then you asked to hold my hand while you fell asleep. It was an amazing day.

My wish for you is that when you become a mother, that your husband and children make you feel appreciated. Do not settle for someone who does not show their appreciation.

Love,
