You've been sick for about a week. It started with a two day fever and progressed to a terrible runny nose. Now it has gone into your chest with a nasty, nasty cough. This is only the third time that you have been sick. You had a fever once last July, and a few week ago you had a very scary stomach flu. After ten hours of throwing up we drove you at midnight to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and Zofran did the trick. But you know what is the worst? This cold.
Your herbal drops aren't working, so I moved on to cold medicine. Your nose has dried up but I worry about it being in your chest. I'm not keen on giving you traditional medicine so I'm hoping a quick visit to the chiropractor will do the trick.
